n-tv once again commissioned plista as its exclusive partner for Recommendation Widgets

Berlin, 22/10/2018 The German news portal n-tv has once again commissioned plista, the global platform for data-driven native advertising, with the monetization of its inventory. N-tv is among the top ten news portals with the widest reach in Germany and has been cooperating with the native advertising expert plista since 2011. With n-tv’s 14 million unique users, advertisers reach a comprehensive target group.


Recommendation widgets increase n-tv page impressions

Plista integrates recommendation widgets via desktop, mobile and AMP as well as native app channels into n-tv’s news pages. The widgets show users further editorial content, videos, or matching ads. “The use of recommendation widgets allows n-tv to increase page impressions and retention time on news portals and establish a profitable revenue business through monetization strategies and plista's referral technology,” says Stefan Klimek, Global Vice President Finance, HR & Commercial at plista.

Katharina Loukidis promoted to Director Business Development for the German-speaking regions at plista

Berlin, 22/06/18 plista, the global platform for data-driven native advertising has appointed Katharina Loukidis the new Director Business Development for the German-speaking regions. In this newly established role, she will advance plista’s business development strategy and drive new business in the DACH region. She will also support the Publisher Development team in furthering its publisher relationships. Loukidis will report to Stefan Klimek, Global Vice President Finance, HR & Commercial. Klimek is also responsible for the core business in the German-speaking regions at plista.


Katharina Loukidis joined plista in 2015, initially as Head of Product Management and for the last two years as Global Director Product Management. Loukidis has played a key role in developing the product team and she has, in addition, been instrumental in international expansions and the global roll-out of new products. “Over the past three years, Katharina has been a major force behind the success of plista’s product development,” says Stefan Klimek, Global Vice President Finance, HR & Commercial at plista. “She will now be using her knowledge of our products and technologies and her excellent network to expand plista’s business and innovative capacity, in her new role as Director Business Development for the German-speaking regions” .


Before starting at plista, the 33-year-old’s previous roles include Director Advertising at meinestadt.de and senior product and marketing positions at Axel Springer for the BILD group.

plista Appoints Carolin Wies as Head of International Business Development

Berlin, February 28, 2018 – Since the beginning of this year, Carolin Wies, Head of International Business  Development, has been responsible for the strategic direction of plista's global publisher business. With  the appointment of Michel Gagnon as Global Managing Director last year, Wies has since been appointed as Gagnon’s successor. Her work focuses on securing and driving plista’s growth in more than 25 existing  and emerging markets. 


Carolin Wies has been with plista since 2013. After having expanded the publisher network within the core markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland as key account manager, Wies joined plista's global expansion in 2015 as part of the international business development team for new markets such as Australia, China, and North America.
